		Save the Date: 2008 5th Annual Wine Tasting Saturday, May 10th The 2008 Annual Wine Tasting, will be held on May 10th, 2008. A variety of wines offered for tasting, accompanied by signature dishes from local chefs. Specialty beers were also available. Wines at the event are available for purchase, with 20% of the proceeds donated to the Foundation for Shrewsbury Education. Foundation Installs 10 SmartBoards in School The Foundation installed 10 Smartboarrds in the middle-school over the summer. A training session was held for the teachers and the all of the boards are in daily use. The 2007 13^th Annual 5K Classic and One Mile Any Style race was be held on Sunday, October 21st, 2007 to benefit the Foundation for Shrewsbury Education, for the benefit of the children of Shrewsbury School. 	The purpose of the Foundation for Shrewsbury Education is: To enrich and support technology as well as other educational programs for students in Shrewsbury and residents of the community. To foster supportive and private sector relationships to serve educational needs. To seek the donation of funds and equipment from businesses or individuals to support the Foundation’s educational goals and purposes. To support innovative programs and activities in science and technology, fine and performing arts, language research and culture, and other educational issues.
